Beautiful location
There’s lots to see and do here at Wernddu. You could take a stroll through the lush green vines and take in the spectacular views. Wernddu is a place to forget the hussle and bussle of life and relax, take in the breathtaking views and the tranquillity.
Alpaca nature walks
We also have a friendly alpaca herd. They’re renowned for their calming qualities and unique characters. They love to be admired so come and say hello! You can find out all about alpacas, their origins, how to care for them and their beautiful fleeces. Take them out for a guided walk around the vineyard and hand feed them with special food. They’re fascinating animals.
We also sell beautiful handmade alpaca garments in our shop. There’s something for all the family from socks to scarves and we make to order.
Winery
The winery is at the heart of Wernddu. It’s a rarity in Wales to grow, make and bottle your own wine, perry and cider. This makes Wernddu unique and a very special place. We have a dedicated tasting room for you to sample a wine, perry or cider and find out your favourite.
Vineyard tour
We also conduct tours so you have the opportunity to learn first hand about our experience with the wine-maker. Take a detailed tour and find out why we planted and hear about our aspirations for the future. We will try and answer any questions you may have. We will take you through the process of making the wine right through to the end product of bottling in our unique winery.
Wine tasting events
Every year vineyards across Wales open their doors and invite you to come and see and taste the beautiful flavours of their labours.

Private Parties (group visits)
Parties that who have enjoyed our tour are: WI, walking clubs, motoring clubs, gardening clubs, rotary clubs, round table, etc. The list goes on. You could even consider Wernddu for a party or special birthday celebration.
Booking is essential
We accept parties from 10–24 people and it includes, vineyard and winery tour, alpaca tour, wine, perry and cider tasting all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
